A Fresh Career Start
As adults, we all ask our children, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” Some people have it all figured out from an early age. This was not the case for Attorney Kovach. She knew she wanted to help people, but did not know exactly how she would undertake to accomplish this desire. Certainly, being a bankruptcy attorney was not her first choice.
Before making the decision to enter law school, Attorney Kovach worked in varied capacities. Each job was service oriented and designed to allow her to work with people, face-to-face. She enjoyed the personal relationships she developed, but still desired to assist people on a grander scale. Her thought was to develop herself through her education, and then utilize this background to secure a position that is of greater value to the public. It was at this point in her life that Attorney Kovach decided to attend law school. Hoping her education would allow her to assist people at a higher level.
Upon graduating from The New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts, Attorney Kovach became a solo practitioner. In this capacity she was able to assist individuals with serious Family Law issues. This was a great start. She developed her courtroom and litigation skills advocating for her clients. She battled hard for her clients, and achieved many victories.
Attorney Kovach wanted to assist more and more people, so she became affiliated with FAMILYLEGAL. In this capacity she was exposed to Bankruptcy Law for the first time. Instantly, Attorney Kovach knew she had found her calling. She knew that through the bankruptcy laws, she would be able to provide the level of assistance to individuals and families that she had always desired. She was professionally home.
As Attorney Kovach will tell you, “joining FAMILYLEGAL was the best decision I have made in my professional career. Because they are the largest Bankruptcy provider in the New England area, I have been exposed to so many different situations I do not think there is anything I have not seen at this point.”
However, Attorney Kovach values every experience as it represents the foundation upon which her career has been built. These daily experiences provide continued motivation. As Attorney Kovach says, “I will never stop loving my job as long as I can help people through these difficult financial times. When I meet with individuals, I listen to them. I formulate a plan for them. I discuss their options with them. My work is about helping my clients.”
